Just a few days ago, the Barcelona trade fair grounds became the global navel of goods movement. The International Logistics Salon (SIL) closed its doors after a historic edition, and among the more than 600 accredited exhibitors, the Spanish company Powerload SL, an intelligent digital logistics platform, played a leading role. The presence of its director was not a mere commercial formality: it was a declaration of intent from a company that has decided to learn, listen, and define new directions at the pace set by the sector’s top specialists.
The official opening, with top-level institutional representation — the Secretary of State for Transport, José Antonio Santano; the Secretary of Business of the Generalitat, Jaume Baró; and the Deputy Mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Valls, among others — made it clear that logistics is much more than warehouses and trucks. It is, as Blanca Sorigué, General Director of the SIL, aptly put it, “the intelligence that moves the world.” And in that moving world, Powerload SL has found its place: that of emerging innovation connecting territories, companies, and talent through the most advanced tools.
The salon did not settle for looking at the present. Its three pillars — 80 revolutionary startups, 160 world-exclusive technological novelties, and more than 250 top-tier speakers — drew a sector transforming on the fly. There, in that hotbed of ideas, Powerload SL was able to weave ties with other entrepreneurs and, above all, listen to those who carry on their shoulders the mission of guiding national strategies to support and develop logistics. Because if one thing became clear, it is that no one is saved alone: public-private collaboration is vital to solving problems quickly.
Catalunya reaffirmed itself as a successful logistics hub, a resilient ecosystem that Jaume Baró called a key pillar for the country’s competitiveness. But it was Jordi Valls who provided a necessary human perspective: “Logistics cannot be understood without intelligence, and there is no intelligence without people.” A reflection that perfectly combines with Powerload SL‘s philosophy, where technology does not replace human judgment but enhances it. The company’s director has returned from Barcelona with the certainty that the path taken — that of an intelligent digital platform in constant development — is exactly what the sector needs.
And among the many daily challenges, one stood out above the rest in the interventions of senior executives. The Minister of Transport and the Executive President of the CZFB, Pere Navarro, agreed: artificial intelligence is already the great challenge. Navarro stated clearly: companies must “vaccinate themselves” against geopolitical changes and, at the same time, integrate new technologies without stopping economic activity for a single second. That digital and ideological transformation on the fly is a long-distance race, and precisely there is where Powerload SL, with its commitment to applying the most modern techniques, has found its competitive advantage.
Thus, the SIL was not just a showcase. For Powerload SL, it has been a major endorsement. The statements from specialists — from Santano warning that road transport accounts for 96% of the total and that the future Sustainable Mobility Law will mark a before and after, to Navarro putting the focus on AI as a lever for the future — constitute the best support for a business that was born digital and aspires to lead the next logistics revolution. The company returns home with a clearer roadmap than ever: because if intelligent logistics moves the world, Powerload SL is already moving its gears.
